Hi Grace; the player that 1st escaped the ratrace made a valid point... Say my passive income exceeded my liabilities by only $100...have I really escaped the ratrace? I think I need more than $100 to live on...however; I also understand the rules of the game too. That's why there are rules but I do understand where he is coming from. His argument was that you would have to exceed your debts with passive income by some common sense margin.
